Carpenters / Ongoing (Full time casual 10 hour days)

Harrison Barratt Group is a leading recruitment and labour hire agency specialising in construction across NSW and nationwide. We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Carpenters and Trade Assistants to join our clients’ growing teams on projects across the Sydney Metro area.

Your Day-to-Day May Include:

• General carpentry works including framing, fix-outs, and formwork
• Assisting qualified carpenters on residential and commercial sites
• Roofing, brickwork, tiling, and demolition works
• Reading and following plans and instructions
• Supervising small teams or tasks (where experience allows)
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
• Working closely with site supervisors and other trades
• Adhering to all WHS and site safety requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Carpenter or Trade Assistant
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own basic tools (preferred)
• Reliable transport

Highly Regarded (But Not Essential):

• Supervisory or leading hand experience
• Experience in roofing, brickwork, tiling, or demolition
• Commercial construction experience
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Overseas qualified carpenters are encouraged to apply (valid visa holder)
