The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator to join our expanding team. This role is integral to our pre-construction process and will involve preparing accurate and competitive tenders for door installation works. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with builders, suppliers, and clients to deliver timely and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate estimates, tenders, and detailed scopes of work
• Conduct quantity take-offs using On-Center or Buildsoft (training provided)
• Offer alternative solutions and value-engineering options to meet client budgets
• Provide cost planning advice and construction cost estimates
• Liaise with builders, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout the tendering process
• Maintain and manage documentation for multiple concurrent projects
• Ensure timely communication and updates with clients regarding project quotes

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in an estimating role, ideally within the carpentry or broader construction industry
• Sound knowledge of construction materials, methods, and current market rates
• Strong cost planning and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital estimating software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Current White Card, valid driver’s licence, and reliable transport
• Full Australian working rights (Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate)
