Lawyer/Associate, Front -end Construction

A well-regarded commercial law practice is looking to add a junior lawyer to its Sydney-based projects and construction team, with a focus on front-end work.

This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career to build depth in transactional construction matters while working closely with experienced practitioners on major infrastructure and development projects.

The Role

You will be involved in a range of front-end construction matters, including:

• Drafting and negotiating construction and project agreements
  
• Supporting procurement processes and delivery structures
  
• Advising on contract administration, risk allocation and compliance
  
• Assisting on large-scale infrastructure and development projects
  
• Preparing research, advice and key project documentation
  

The work is varied and commercially focused, offering exposure to the full lifecycle of projects from structuring through to delivery.

The Team

This is a collaborative and high-performing team with a strong focus on development and hands-on learning. You will work closely with senior lawyers who are actively involved in mentoring and providing guidance, while still being given meaningful responsibility from an early stage.

About You

You will be a lawyer with approximately 1–3 years’ experience in projects and construction, ideally with exposure to front-end work. Candidates with relevant in-house experience will also be considered.
