Due to continued growth across the construction and labour hire industry, Amrick is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Recruitment Consultant/Business Development Manager to join our expanding team in Melbourne.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving business growth through proactive business development, exceptional client management, and delivering high-quality workforce solutions across the construction industry.

This role requires someone who can confidently win new business while also maintaining and growing existing client accounts through strong communication, reliability, and consistent service delivery.

You will be responsible for:

• Actively identifying, pursuing, and securing new client opportunities across the construction industry
• Building and managing long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Growing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
• Acting as the primary point of contact for key client accounts and ensuring exceptional service delivery
• Managing client expectations, workforce requirements, and ongoing account performance
• Conducting industry research and market mapping to identify growth opportunities
• Sourcing, screening, and interviewing high-quality candidates
• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from onboarding through to placement
• Working closely with the operations team to ensure client satisfaction and project success
• Delivering strong communication skills, urgency, and follow-through across all areas of the role
• Contributing to team growth targets and overall business success

• Previous experience in recruitment, labour hire, sales, or customer service
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills
