We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our growing team, supporting the day-to-day payroll, accounts payable and financial administration of the business.
Custom Clad is a specialist cladding company based in Victoria and Queensland, working with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders on commercial projects across a range of industries, including healthcare, infrastructure, retail and accommodation.
This is a hands-on role for an organised and detail-focused person who is confident managing payroll, accounts payable and general financial administration. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, supplier accounts are kept up to date, and financial records are maintained accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly payroll processing, including timesheets, leave and employee records.
- Process supplier invoices and manage day-to-day accounts payable.
- Manage supplier statements, payments and reconciliations.
- Ensure invoices and payments are accurately recorded and processed within required timeframes.
- Maintain accurate payroll and financial records.
- Assist with general accounts and financial administration.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies where required.
- Assist with payroll-related requirements, including superannuation and compliance.
- Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve payroll and accounts-related queries.
- Support the wider finance and administration functions of the business as required.
Key Requirements:
- 2–3+ years of experience in payroll, accounts payable or a similar finance administration role.
- Strong knowledge and experience using Xero.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience managing weekly payroll, timesheets, leave and employee records.
- Experience processing supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations.
- Good understanding of payroll, superannuation and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- A proactive, organised and practical approach to your work.
