The Role As an Arborist, you'll work alongside an experienced crew carrying out a variety of tree care and vegetation management services throughout the Mackay region.

Your duties will include:

• Tree removal, pruning, trimming and general tree maintenance
• Climbing and aerial tree work where required
• Stump grinding and site clean-up
• Operating chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, EWP's and other arboricultural equipment
• Identifying tree hazards and maintaining safe work practices
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Working collaboratively with your team while maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety

About You To be considered, you should possess:

• Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Arborist
• Proven climbing and aerial tree work experience
• Current Driver Licence (MR/HR licence highly regarded)
• White Card
• Chainsaw competency/licence
• Aerial Rescue qualification
• Tree Hazard & Risk Assessment experience
• Utility vegetation management experience (highly regarded)
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Self-motivated, reliable, and well organised
