About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales growth, manage inbound and self-generated leads, and support customers through the full lifecycle—from initial engagement to aftersales success. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise, relationship management, and strategic sales execution within a fast-evolving automotive technology environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead Management & Sales
- Manage and triage inbound leads from partners and distributors, directing opportunities to regional sales teams
- Proactively generate new sales leads within the automotive aftermarket industry
- Engage with new and existing clients to drive product and service sales
- Maintain and update sales pipelines, ensuring accurate tracking and forecasting
- Achieve quarterly sales targets across remote services and product lines
Aftersales & Customer Success
- Provide aftersales support for new customers to ensure successful onboarding and product utilisation
- Maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying upsell opportunities for new products and services
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and ongoing engagement
Technical & Operational Support
- Prepare and configure diagnostic and ADAS equipment prior to shipment
- Build and activate diagnostic tools, including software licensing
- Manage inventory of diagnostic equipment and software licences
- Ensure accurate labelling, packaging, and dispatch of equipment
Events & Travel
- Represent the business at trade shows and industry events throughout the year
- Travel across Australia and New Zealand as required
About You
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within automotive, technical equipment, or related industries
- Ideally with vehicle diagnostics or technical aptitude with diagnostic equipment
- Confident managing and updating sales pipelines
- Proficient in using computers and systems, including:
- CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred, training provided)
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to develop and execute structured sales plans
- Comfortable learning bespoke business systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events

Annual salary of $80,000 - $100,000 + Super and uncapped commission.
